Abstract
|

|
Di Guglielmo syndrome which is rare in children is characterized by excessive erythroid precursors with abnormal morphology both in the bone marrow and blood.
We experienced two cases of Di Guglielmo syndrome in´ a 10 and a 13 years old female patient respectively.
They had a chief complaints of pallor and fever for several days before admission.
On physical examination, they were revealed to have severe anemia and bruising but hepatosplenomegaly.
The diagnosis was established by peripheral blood and bone marrow findings.
We report two cases with a brief review of the related literature.
